• Maglaba

Not my personal favorite pero refreshing “daw” maglaba ng old fashion way, meaning walang washing machine—mano-manong kuskos, piga, at sampay.

  1. greetings from California , from a fellow Filipino.

We’re just starting the season of summer here in California., from , officially, June 21st to Sept 21st. Right now, it doesn’t feel like summer at all. The weather is whacked, and it’s been raining for several weeks now. About an hour from where I live, it’s still snowing. Anywho, summer here can go as high as 114 F. That’s about 40 C. Only , we don’t sweat at all. It’s dry heat here. Although it’s comfortable not to sweat and get sticky, it’s less healthful.

Been there in the Philippines last year, from july to Aug….. the humidity got me down !

    • Hi there!😀 The temp here in Manila, especially during summer, plays around 27-38 C. In other provinces, like in Mindanao area, the temp goes as high as 40 C to 42 C.😦 rainy season is coming but we can still feel the heat (and ice candy is still popular).

      Thanks for dropping by.😀

        • Haha! It’s frozen beverages i.e. mango juice, orange juice, instant chocolate drinks, coffee etc. Just like ice pops, minus the popsicle sticks because we put them inside small plastic bags. BTW when are you going to visit the Philippines again? If you have the time maybe we can meet and I’ll tour you around Metro Manila.🙂

  2. I LOVE THE COMIC. LOLOL

I beat the heat by drinking lots and lots and lots and lots of water.😀 And swimming in it.

  3. I was supposed to take a summer class this year, unfortunately , I couldn’t. The class that I wanted was full. Dang. I could have gone to the Philippines, instead. Now I’m left with doing nothing, except work at my part time job.

Oh, that would be nice if I could have another to take me around. Well, I’m sure to go next summer. Ah, but that’s a long ways off and I still don’t know what would come up . Thanks for the offer. I’ll take you up on that, just in case. ^o^
