Who? Who is Elihu?

So naisip ko:

Ano bang sinabi niya?

Elihu had waited with Job while they spoke because they were all older than he. (Job 32:4 The Message)

11“I hung on your words while you spoke, listened carefully to your arguments. While you searched for the right words, 12I was all ears. And now what have you proved? Nothing. Nothing you say has even touched Job. 13And don’t excuse yourselves by saying, ‘We’ve done our best. Now it’s up to God to talk sense into him.’ 14Job has yet to contend with me. And rest assured, I won’t be using your arguments!” (Job 32:11-14 The Message) *naks!*

And he did. At hindi lang siya nag-rant, he was filled with the Holy Spirit that is why he was able to talk sense to the people around him. It was neither his age nor his experience that gave him wisdom; it was God who gave him the words to say.

7I kept thinking, ‘Experience will tell. The longer you live, the wiser you become.’ 8But I see I was wrong—it’s God’s Spirit in a person, the breath of the Almighty One, that makes wise human insight possible. (Job 32:7, 8 The Message)

Things we need to understand about Elihu:

1)   He listened. He listened to his friends and he listened to God.

2)   He spoke. He was not silent he opened his mouth when it was the right time to speak. His age didn’t stop him.

3)   He was not arrogant. He spoke the words with loving correction.

Pray and ask God for wisdom, and allow Him to use you as his mouthpiece.
